The timbers that are used in our exterior woodworks include: Guarea (Guarea Cedrata), Afzelia (Afzelia Africana), Kussia (Nauclea Diderrichii), Jatoba (HymenaeaCourbaril), Burmese Teak (Tectona Grandis), Lingue (Afzelia Quanzensis), Western Red Cedar (Thuya Plicata), Spanish Cedar (Cedrela Odorata), and Emeri (Terminalia Ivornesis). These timbers are graded as durable to very durable timbers. The latter are high in their dimensional stability, and their resistance to both insects and changes in climatic conditions.
The finishing techniques through years of experience has proven to be an oil based treatment that is applied to a surface prepared with a penetrating U/V protective stain.
